Denver Terminal to Elati Transmission Project
Overview
We are replacing and upgrading approximately 1.5 miles of the 230-kilovolt electric transmission line between the existing Denver Terminal Substation (West 14th Avenue and Zuni Street) and the Elati Substation (West 13th Avenue and Elati Street) in Denver, Colorado. Most replacements will be underground (1.26 miles), with 0.21 miles of overhead line upgrades.
This project is part of the larger Denver Metro Transmission Upgrades to upgrade the existing electric system to support new power generation sources and meet future electricity needs.
