Overview
As part of the Denver Metro Transmission Upgrades, we plan to upgrade approximately 9 miles of existing 230 kilovolt overhead electric transmission line in Douglas and Arapahoe counties. Work will occur between the following existing substations:
- Daniels Park Substation: Monarch Boulevard, north of Serena Drive in Douglas County
- Prairie Substation: Timberline Road, east of Mountain Brush Circle in Douglas County
- Greenwood Substation: South Holly Street and East Weaver Avenue in Centennial
Additional upgrades are being made to associated equipment at the substation.
