Daniels Park Substation
Overview
As part of the Denver Metro Transmission Upgrades, we are upgrading the existing Daniels Park Substation on Monarch Boulevard, north of Serena Drive in Douglas County, by adding a fourth 345/230 kilovolt transformer and associated equipment at the substation.
Daniels Park Substation is part of a larger, multi-year effort to rebuild and upgrade vital, higher voltage electric transmission infrastructure across the Denver Metro area as part of the Denver Metro Transmission Upgrades.

Schedule
Work is expected to begin in June 2028, with project components in service by July 2029.
