Arapahoe to South Tap to Bancroft Transmission Project
Overview
We are upgrading approximately 6.8 miles of existing 115 kilovolt overhead electric transmission line between the existing Arapahoe Substation (South Platte River Drive, Denver, Colorado) and the Bancroft Substation (South Wadsworth Boulevard and West Kentucky Avenue, Lakewood, Colorado). Additional upgrades are being made to associated equipment at the substation.
This project is part of the larger Denver Metro Transmission Upgrades to upgrade the existing electric system to support new power generation sources and meet future electricity needs.
