Arapahoe to South Tap to Bancroft Transmission Project
Overview
As part of the Denver Metro Transmission Upgrades, we are upgrading approximately 6.8 miles of existing 115 kilovolt overhead electric transmission lines in Denver and Jefferson County. Work will occur between:
- Arapahoe Substation: South Platte River Drive in Denver
- Bancroft Substation: South Wadsworth Boulevard and West Kentucky Avenue in Lakewood
Additional upgrades are being made to associated equipment at the substation.
Arapahoe to South Tap to Bancroft Transmission Project is part of a larger, multi-year effort to rebuild and upgrade vital, higher voltage transmission infrastructure across the Denver Metro area as part of the Denver Metro Transmission Upgrades.
