Daniels Park to Santa Fe Transmission Project
Overview
As part of the Denver Metro Transmission Upgrades, we plan to upgrade approximately 10.5 miles of existing 230 kilovolt overhead electric transmission line in Douglas County. Work will occur between the existing substations:
- Daniels Park Substation: Monarch Boulevard, north of Serena Drive in Douglas County
- Santa Fe Substation: Midway Drive, west of Route 85 in Highlands Ranch
Additional upgrades are being made to associated equipment at the substation. Daniels Park to Santa Fe Transmission Project is part of the larger, multi‑year effort to rebuild and upgrade vital, higher voltage transmission infrastructure across the Denver Metro Transmission Upgrades.
